  2. My first MMO — Tibia. back in 2003 (March). Played on Eternia, learning all about the douchebaggery of mankind within moments of mainland access. Ah yes. And the sudden threats in Rookgaard "You're hunted in main". No idea what I did.

But unlike you, Pewdiepie, I never cheated. Nor was I an asshole. I was the absolute opposite. Still loved the game, and I got damn good at it. (I'd block giant spiders as my paladin for my friends.)
I remember one guy telling me how he would do PVP — levelto 20, get Fire Bomb Runes, and go to the rot (root) worm caves, and bomb the rope up holes. And bomb the noobs. They'd panic, and were easy prey.
Which brings me to my favorite part of the game: it wasn't just stats and gear. It was a mind game. You die, you lose 10% of max XP, Skill XP, your backpack, and 10% chance for each piece of gear. So most people died by panicing. Not healing, staying diagonal of the dragon, using the shovel on the hidden hole behind the tree. They'd panic. And die.

Once you mastered that fear, you were damn near unbeatable.
